Spring is the perfect time to get back into the garden. You can plant new seeds, replant old ones and get a jumpstart on summer gardening.

Here are some tips to help you prepare your home for spring gardening:

Clean your pots and trays. If you're planting a lot of seedlings, give them a good wash after each batch. That will help keep diseases at bay and make sure they're ready to go when it's time to transplant them into the garden.

Keep an eye on humidity levels in your home. The humidity should be between 50 percent and 60 percent in your home during springtime. Too much or too little will cause problems with germination and growth, so keep an eye on it by checking around windows and doors as well as taking note of any condensation on windowsills or in corners of rooms where there's little air circulation (like closets or garages).

Remove any plants inside that do not have drainage holes — like ferns or ivy — because they'll drown in standing water if there's no way for them to drain away from the roots. You can also take this opportunity to remove any plant from your windowsill that might be growing too high.

Spring is a time of renewal, and this is especially true in the garden. So, it's important to get your garden ready for spring by preparing it for an early spring planting. Here are some tips to get you started:

Step 1. Clean up. If there's any kind of debris on your lawn or in your garden beds, pull it out before you do any work this spring. You don't want to dig up worms or seeds that are already showing signs of life

Step 2. Check the soil. Take a look at your soil profile and make sure it's not too acidic or too alkaline (high or low pH) for planting in springtime. Acidic soils may need lime added to the soil before planting; alkaline soils can be improved by mixing in some compost around the base of plants after they've been planted.

Step 3. Water! Take care to water regularly — at least once each week during the growing season — so that your plants have access to moisture throughout their entire life cycle (which can be from germination through harvest).

Spring is a great time to get back into the garden. You can start planting seeds and flowers, or if you’re not ready for that, you can still enjoy some springtime with your vegetable garden. Here are some tips to help prepare your home for spring gardening: Make sure your soil is moist but not wet. If it’s too wet, you can use a trowel or shovel to dig trenches around plants that need extra water. If you have a lot of plants in one area, like a raised bed or container garden, make sure they aren’t crowded. It’s easier to keep them watered if they are spaced out evenly. Remove any weeds or dead plants from the area where you are going to plant new seeds or transplants. This will give them enough room to grow without competing with weeds for nutrients or shade from other plants. The spring season is a time for renewal and rejuvenation .
